What’s new with Shuttle
Shuttle keeps getting better at helping you take your next move. Here's what changed, newest first.
October 30, 2026
- Preview: hub branding is configurable per organization via hubs.json (Caldwell Chamber typewriter is the first entry).
- Preview: the Caldwell Chamber hub mode now uses a vintage typewriter icon, a nod to the Chamber's 1920 typewriter.
- Preview: a Caldwell Chamber hub mode for Shuttle that leads with Common Grounds, routes membership questions to Indee Swanson and marketing questions to Amber Clement, and keeps Commonweft understated.
October 29, 2026
- For people in Caldwell County, Shuttle can point to Common Grounds, the Chamber's Thursday morning networking meeting, when connection or a low-pressure Chamber try-out fits - free help first, no membership pitch.
October 26, 2026
- You can now talk to Shuttle instead of typing: tap the microphone, speak, and your words appear in the message box (on browsers that support it). Anything you already typed stays put.
- When Shuttle answers, the chat now shows your question at the top so you can read the answer from the beginning.
- If you asked Shuttle to remember your conversation, it now shows more of your earlier conversation when you come back. It stays in your browser only.
October 24, 2026
- Chamber member businesses can now earn the "Verified by Weftward" badge once we've checked who runs them and what they offer. Verified still can't be bought.
- Once you've told Shuttle your goal, it won't ask for it again.
- Clearer home page wording.
Late October 2026
- Shuttle gives straight answers when you ask for them: numbers, a short plan, or words you can use, without a string of questions first.
- Busy? Tell Shuttle you're short on time and it gives a quick three-step plan you can start on.
- Plainer words. Shuttle spells things out instead of using initials, and keeps steps short and simple when you want it that way.
- Need a flyer, ad or sign? Shuttle helps you figure out what to say, then points you to local print shops in Burke and Caldwell counties.
October 22, 2026
- The Shuttle app remembers your conversation better between visits.
- Shuttle now mentions that it's built especially for Burke and Caldwell counties, NC, when that's useful, and it still helps anyone, anywhere.
October 20, 2026
- More local businesses from Burke and Caldwell chamber member directories, so Shuttle can point you to someone nearby.
- Some resources now carry a "Verified by Weftward" badge, which means we've checked who runs them and what they offer, from their official sources.
October 18, 2026
- Shuttle asks about your bigger goal first, then gives one small step you can take.
- Clearer, everyday wording throughout.
- The app updates itself when you open it, so you always have the latest version.
